Membership is by application. The form asks for a work email, a name, a country, and — optionally — a phone number, a company and what you do. An application is accepted when it arrives: the email that confirms it carries a link to set a password, and the account exists from then — there is nothing to sign in to before it. The team can withdraw a membership at any time, and an address it has turned down before is reviewed by a person when it applies again.
